Foundation Stage the Nursery:

Our Nursery and Reception children benefit from excellent indoor facilities, plenty of outdoor education, learning and play.  Our small class sizes ensure quality curriculum delivery and pastoral care within the six learning areas.  Pupils may enter our Nursery in the term in which they are three, moving forward into Reception in the September following their fourth birthday.  With our various excellent resources and friendly qualified staff our children in the Foundation stage are happy, secure and quickly gain confidence.  The children usually attend every day, although there is flexibility of provision, including mornings only, mornings with some afternoons and full time.

A well balanced lunch is served with an older pupil sitting with the children and their choice of food being served by our Nursery teacher.
All our children benefit from whole school assemblies and visits into the community and we invite outside agencies to visit us such as the local Police Force and Fire Service.  These all provide many opportunities for performance and parental involvement.
